Method

How this dataset is built

One event per measure, keyed by country, commodity, measure and the day it takes effect. When a measure is extended, eased or lifted, the same event is updated and its earlier state is kept as a revision, so the history shows what was known at each date.

  • The legal text or the agency's own notice first, then the trade press that cites it.
  • Every value carries the page it came from and the sentence that states it, checked word for word by the server.
  • Nothing is estimated or carried forward: a date or a number no page states is left out.
