What Albia is
Albia is a crater — a circular depression, almost always an impact scar — on Vesta, 5.8 km across, centred at 27.9° S, 78.8° E. It is the 98th largest named feature on Vesta and the 82nd largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Albia Dominica; Roman noblewoman, wife of Emperor Valens (c. 337â378). The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 2014, under the theme it applies to every crater on Vesta.
What it would take to settle Albia
