Sotra Patera is a patera — an irregular or scalloped-edged crater, usually volcanic — on Titan, 40 km across, centred at 14.5° S, 40.0° W. It is the 215th largest named feature on Titan and the 1st largest of its class there.

Where the name comes from

Norwegian island. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 2012.
