What Flensborg Sinus is
Flensborg Sinus is a sinus — a bay-shaped dark plain — on Titan, 115 km across, centred at 64.9° N, 64.7° E. It is the 130th largest named feature on Titan and the 11th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Fjord between Denmark and Germany. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 2015, under the theme it applies to every sinus on Titan. Of the 28 features of this class catalogued on Titan, the naming categories run Canada (3), Japan (2), Namibia (1), Scotland (1).
What it would take to settle Flensborg Sinus
