Palus Epidemiarum is a palus — a small dark plain — on The Moon, 300 km across, centred at 32.0° S, 27.5° W in the Pitatus quadrangle. It is the 48th largest named feature on The Moon and the 1st largest of its class there.

Where the name comes from

"Marsh of Epidemics." The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1935, under the theme it applies to every palus on The Moon.
