Phra Naret Corona is a corona — an oval feature raised by rising material beneath the crust — on Venus, 150 km across, centred at 66.6° S, 150.4° W in the Barrymore quadrangle. It is the 849th largest named feature on Venus and the 264th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Thai fertility goddess. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1994, under the theme it applies to every corona on Venus. Of the 340 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run India (16), Greek (14), Celtic (12), Roman (11).
What it would take to settle Phra Naret Corona
