Where the name comes from

Chinese word for silver snake. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 2020, under the theme it applies to every facula on Mercury. Of the 29 features of this class catalogued on Mercury, the naming categories run India (2), Nigeria (2), Philippines (2), Ireland (1).
