Heemskerck Rupes is a rupes — a scarp or cliff — on Mercury, 320 km across, centred at 27.3° N, 124.3° W in the Shakespeare quadrangle. It is the 59th largest named feature on Mercury and the 30th largest of its class there.
Dutch; one of Tasman's ships to explore Australia, New Zealand, 1642-43. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1976, under the theme it applies to every rupes on Mercury.
