Candor Sulci is a sulcus — a set of parallel grooves and ridges — on Mars, 73.4 km across, centred at 4.9° S, 76.8° W in the Coprates quadrangle. It is the 793rd largest named feature on Mars and the 14th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Classical albedo feature name. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 2013, under the theme it applies to every sulcus on Mars. Of the 14 features of this class catalogued on Mars, the naming categories run Latin (8), Greek (6).
