Milda Mons is a mons — a mountain — on Venus, 48 km across, centred at 52.5° N, 159.4° E in the Atalanta Planitia quadrangle. It is the 1121st largest named feature on Venus and the 113th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Lithuanian goddess of love. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1991, under the theme it applies to every mons on Venus. Of the 117 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run Greek (8), Egypt (8), Hopi (5), India (4).
What it would take to settle Milda Mons
