What Lacus Odii is
Lacus Odii is a lacus — a small dark plain — on The Moon, 72.7 km across, centred at 19.2° N, 7.3° E in the Montes Apenninus quadrangle. It is the 633rd largest named feature on The Moon and the 17th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
"Lake of Hatred." The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1976, under the theme it applies to every lacus on The Moon.
What it would take to settle Lacus Odii
