Cyane Catena is a catena — a chain of craters — on Mars, 204 km across, centred at 36.3° N, 118.3° W in the Arcadia quadrangle. It is the 397th largest named feature on Mars and the 9th largest of its class there.

Where the name comes from

Classical albedo feature Cyane Fons. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1985, under the theme it applies to every catena on Mars. Of the 16 features of this class catalogued on Mars, the naming categories run Greek (10), Latin (5), Roman (1).
