Zhivana Corona is a corona — an oval feature raised by rising material beneath the crust — on Venus, 180 km across, centred at 13.0° N, 72.5° W in the Devana Chasma quadrangle. It is the 817th largest named feature on Venus and the 243rd largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Slavic goddess of life. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1997, under the theme it applies to every corona on Venus. Of the 340 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run India (16), Greek (14), Celtic (12), Roman (11).
What it would take to settle Zhivana Corona
