Ovda Regio is a regio — a large area distinguished by its brightness or colour — on Venus, 5,280 km across, centred at 2.8° S, 85.6° E in the Ix Chel Chasma quadrangle. It is the 8th largest named feature on Venus and the 2nd largest of its class there.

Where the name comes from

Marijian; Titaness having supernatural power. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1982, under the theme it applies to every regio on Venus. Of the 19 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run Greek (7), Norse (5), American (2), Mari (1).
