Nightingale Corona is a corona — an oval feature raised by rising material beneath the crust — on Venus, 471 km across, centred at 63.6° N, 129.5° E in the Atalanta Planitia quadrangle. It is the 429th largest named feature on Venus and the 35th largest of its class there.

Where the name comes from

Florence; English nurse (1820-1910). The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1985, under the theme it applies to every corona on Venus. Of the 340 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run India (16), Greek (14), Celtic (12), Roman (11).
