What Kubebe Corona is
Kubebe Corona is a corona — an oval feature raised by rising material beneath the crust — on Venus, 125 km across, centred at 15.5° N, 132.5° E in the Greenaway quadrangle. It is the 919th largest named feature on Venus and the 307th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Hittite mother earth goddess. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1994, under the theme it applies to every corona on Venus. Of the 340 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run India (16), Greek (14), Celtic (12), Roman (11).
What it would take to settle Kubebe Corona
