What Cline is
Cline is a crater — a circular depression, almost always an impact scar — on Venus, 38 km across, centred at 21.8° S, 42.9° W in the Navka Planitia quadrangle. It is the 1187th largest named feature on Venus and the 121st largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Patsy; American singer (1932-1963). The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1994, under the theme it applies to every crater on Venus. Of the 881 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run American (88), Russia (55), France (47), England (47).
What it would take to settle Cline
