Bibi Patma Corona is a corona — an oval feature raised by rising material beneath the crust — on Venus, 450 km across, centred at 47.0° S, 58.0° W in the Nepthys Mons quadrangle. It is the 438th largest named feature on Venus and the 38th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Turkman goddess of women. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1997, under the theme it applies to every corona on Venus. Of the 340 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run India (16), Greek (14), Celtic (12), Roman (11).
