What Shiraz Sulcus is
Shiraz Sulcus is a sulcus — a set of parallel grooves and ridges — on Enceladus, 80 km across, centred at 57.2° S, 39.4° W. It is the 27th largest named feature on Enceladus and the 17th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Place in "Prince Ahmad and the Fairy Peri Banu." The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 2010, under the theme it applies to every sulcus on Enceladus.
What it would take to settle Shiraz Sulcus
