Omar is a crater — a circular depression, almost always an impact scar — on Enceladus, 11.5 km across, centred at 17.9° N, 86.0° E. It is the 68th largest named feature on Enceladus and the 36th largest of its class there.
Great king, father of Sharrkan and Zau al-Makán in "The Tale of King Omar and his Sons." The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 2006, under the theme it applies to every crater on Enceladus.
