Enyo Fossae is a fossa — a long, narrow depression — on Venus, 700 km across, centred at 62.0° S, 9.0° W in the Mylitta Fluctus quadrangle. It is the 292nd largest named feature on Venus and the 15th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Greek war goddess. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1991, under the theme it applies to every fossa on Venus. Of the 31 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run Greek (4), Norse (3), Siberia (2), Slavic (2).
