Svol Catena is a catena — a chain of craters — on Callisto, 161 km across, centred at 10.6° N, 37.2° W. It is the 12th largest named feature on Callisto and the 5th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Norse river. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1997, under the theme it applies to every catena on Callisto.
