Where the name comes from

Sumerian desert goddess. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 2010, under the theme it applies to every linea on Venus. Of the 17 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run Celtic (3), Roman (2), Hawaii (1), Wales (1).
