Mama Allpa Corona is a corona — an oval feature raised by rising material beneath the crust — on Venus, 300 km across, centred at 27.0° S, 31.0° E in the Agnesi quadrangle. It is the 603rd largest named feature on Venus and the 117th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Peruvian harvest goddess. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1994, under the theme it applies to every corona on Venus. Of the 340 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run India (16), Greek (14), Celtic (12), Roman (11).
