Eingana Corona is a corona — an oval feature raised by rising material beneath the crust — on Venus, 375 km across, centred at 5.0° N, 10.0° W in the Sif Mons quadrangle. It is the 508th largest named feature on Venus and the 63rd largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Australian aboriginal snake goddess, maker of all beings. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 1997, under the theme it applies to every corona on Venus. Of the 340 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run India (16), Greek (14), Celtic (12), Roman (11).
