What Azham Corona is
Azham Corona is a corona — an oval feature raised by rising material beneath the crust — on Venus, 380 km across, centred at 66.4° N, 107.3° W in the Metis Regio quadrangle. It is the 501st largest named feature on Venus and the 59th largest of its class there.
Where the name comes from
Karachay and Balkar (N. Caucasus) great goddess of the nature forces. The International Astronomical Union approved the name in 2009, under the theme it applies to every corona on Venus. Of the 340 features of this class catalogued on Venus, the naming categories run India (16), Greek (14), Celtic (12), Roman (11).
What it would take to settle Azham Corona
